What If We Tell You Our Story

What If We Create is a community arts organisation that offers communities the opportunities to develop their creativity, learn new skills and connect with others through positive activities.

Established by existing practicing artists and makers, projects are designed to bring people together in a safe, supportive space whilst offering something different to our area. We have a track record of offering community projects in arts, culture and heritage through our outreach workshops.

Since 2023, as a Community Interest Company and Social Enterprise, and with our love of print, What If We Create offers the space for us to deliver our ambitions.

Our aim is to build on our track record as Eleos Collective, gathering strength in our creative offer and delivery at the grassroots, and connections with our existing partners.

What If We Create is a space offering the following:

  • Community Social Enterprise offering commercial specialist prints to artists, creatives and SMEs
  • Learning space for Educational, Home Educated and Community Groups
  • Selling & Experiencing Outlets – Opportunities to make a difference for the Future of the High Street
  • A living heritage of printing
  • Socially engaging workshop space.

Coproduction and collaboration are central to our work, so we want to utilise an empty shop on the high street to develop our plan. We’re a socially engaged company, so we can play a part in improving our local area through well-being that comes from our unique and joyful communal activities.

Developing long-term heritage projects of the print industry in North East Lincolnshire, it will be homed in our print shop.

Meet Us At Albert’s is our initial research project funded by Create North East Lincolnshire.

Our community print shop will have exhibitions and workshop spaces; a venue that welcomes residents and visitors to celebrate our rich industrial heritage.

What If We Create offers contemporary programmed workshop inviting local and national specialist artists and craftspeople to share their skills and knowledge.
