DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Unseen Arts\, we’re running a Brick Printmaking workshop at People Make Grimsby\, in Freshney Place. \nExplore LEGO® in a completely new way in this hands-on printmaking workshop with What If We Create. Participants will use LEGO® bricks as printing tools to create bold\, graphic prints inspired by local identity\, heritage and imagined futures\, learning core printmaking techniques while experimenting with pattern\, texture and composition. \nSuitable for ages: 7-17 years \n  \nWhat is Brick Futures?\nBrick Futures is a creative community project using LEGO® to express young-people’s visions and hopes for the future of North East Lincolnshire. \nUnseen Arts will be delivering FREE LEGO® themed creative workshops for young-people culminating in an exhibition at The Muriel Barker Gallery\, Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre from 3 April 2026 to 4 May 2026. \nBook tickets for the workshop on the Unseen Arts website.

DESCRIPTION:The Memory in a Bottle exhibition is coming to Grimsby! \nJoin us on Saturday 3rd January for a celebration to launch the new soundscape. \nTea and cake will be provided by Riverhead Coffee. \nWhat is the Memory in a Bottle exhibition?\n\nMemory in a Bottle is a joyful celebration of the people\, places and stories of the Lincolnshire Coast. ​​​ \n\n\nFunded by Arts Council England and Create North East Lincolnshire\, this creative project brings generations together to share coastal memories through a travelling exhibition\, an online gallery\, a podcast series\, and fun\, hands-on workshops in schools. \nWhether you’re local or just love the seaside\, Memory in a Bottle offers a fresh look at the unique heritage of one of England’s most overlooked but fascinating coastlines. \n\nThe exhibition will be in Grimsby until Saturday 31st January.
